On this latest episode of the Blossom Your Awesome Podcast I'm talking to Modern Day Shaman Norman Plotkin. 

After a 25 year career as a public policy consultant and lobbyist Norman Plotkin changed paths and became a certified clinical hypnotherapist. 

It was a battle with cancer that forced him to emerge with a new perspective. 

He went back to school and became a hypnotherapist. 

He's written two books on taking charge of your health challenges.  And Norman's life changed as he began advocating for people instead of companies. Currently tending to his private hypnotherapy practice and leading virtual group meditation sessions, Plotkin published his second book, Master Mind Master Life, and is working on his third.

Norman and I delve deep into the the healing process and how transformative it can be and the deeper awakening it is calling for. 

He applies well known health and wellness techniques along with incorporating mindfulness and spirituality to his hypnotherapy practice, but also uses alternatives sources such as tarot to lead a more intentional life. 

Norman had a way about him. He was calm, at peace and very measured. He spoke from love and had an intuitive prowess that was so powerfully he truly embodied all I imagine in a modern day Shaman.  He is part mystic and part healer with a flair. 

His ideas and philosophies on healing and recovery far surpass just our average understanding of what it means to go through therapy to heal and life a more empowered life.
